Ferries

Independent travelers can mix with the locals on the Alaska Marine Highway, our state-run ferry system. Providing year-round service between Alaska’s coastal communities and Bellingham Washington, Alaska’s ferries can accommodate cars & motorhomes. Private cabins are available onboard select vessels. Keep an eye out for whales, porpoise, sea lions, eagles and seabirds as you sail up Alaska’s Inside Passage along the snow capped Coastal Mountain Range. 

The family run Alaska Fjordlines 65’ high speed passenger catamaran provides summer service between Skagway, Haines & Juneau. Complimentary continental breakfast & dinner are served on board. The Haines-Skagway Fast Ferry provides summer transportation between Haines & Skagway, Alaska.
