For everyone that wishes to enjoy a wide range of Community Events, Skagway has it all. Throughout the year our small community (population 1036 in 2014 census estimate) puts on a host of events with the help of many Skagway volunteers!

Skagway Arts Council Annual Membership Meeting with Queens A Cappella

On Saturday, September 14th, the Skagway Arts Council Annual Membership Meeting will be held at 5:30 in the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall (behind the church on the corner of 5th avenue and Main Street. Members get discounts on future events, the ability to vote for board members and have coffee/tea and cookies at the meeting. You can make suggestions and hear about upcoming events and finances. You also get in free to the concert following the meeting.
Concert location is the First Presbyterian Church sanctuary and will be ‘A Night of Queens’, an all female A Cappella group comprised of singers from Juneau and Skagway. Concert starts at 7:00. SAC Members get in free. All others $10 each or $8 for seniors and students and $25 per family.
The historic First Presbyterian Church has amazing acoustics and with these lovely voices, it will be a night to remember.
