For everyone that wishes to enjoy a wide range of Community Events, Skagway has it all. Throughout the year our small community (population 1036 in 2014 census estimate) puts on a host of events with the help of many Skagway volunteers!

Shop in Skagway
This is our Annual event that occurs from November 27 - December 24th. This is a great way to support our Local Business community and have some fun. There will be in house drawings and a chance to win 3- $50 cash prizes from the Skagway Chamber of Commerce. The drawings will be held on December 24th and the winners will be contacted after Christmas. Please join us in letting our local businesses how important they are to our community.

Letter to Santa
Children from newborn to 10 years of age can drop their letters to Santa off at the Santa Letter Box outside the Skagway Chamber of Commerce starting on November 27 and going until December 18th. Each child that writes a letter with a return address, name, and age will get a written response sent to them from Santa.
